Natalie's First Day of School!

Where did the time go?

Natalie is thrilled to finally be going to school and loves her teacher, Mrs. Logel. She literally runs to the bus stop each day, and then asks "where is the bus" at least 3 times before it arrives. I hardly ever get a hug before she is lining up to go on the bus! She was so excited her first day, we couldn't get a good picture of her getting on the bus, but here it is anyway. Her crown was to help her teacher find her and her classmates as they got off the bus.

I only hope she continues to have such enthusiasm for many grades to come!

Crawling!!!!.....almost

Leah is already approaching her 8th month of life, and she is almost crawling too! She pushes right up to her hands and feet and holds it, and also on her hands and knees. She is able to sit up too, mostly without support, which allows her to play with toys in a whole new position.

Natalie starts school next month too, and all I can think is: "where did the time go??". I remember when Natalie was first starting to crawl, and it feels just like yesterday! Sigh...

Even more teeth!!

It's hard to believe, but Leah now has 8 teeth! The last two just popped through today, so now she has 4 top and 4 bottom teeth. Just on time for our professional pictures at Sears, haha.

Also, we are in our last 2 weeks of "coming to work with mom". As of July 29th, Leah will be going to Tina's house across the road, while I go to work. It's going to be hard to do! I thought it would be easier, as I already did it once with Natalie, but no. Sigh....

And the teeth keep comin'!

As of this morning, Leah has a top tooth! No wonder she has been a little more fussy these days. This makes a total of 4 teeth: 3 bottom teeth and one on the top. There's also another bottom tooth almost through, and she isn't even 6 months old yet!

Pablum time!

Leah wasn't too sure how to eat it at first, but she got onto it quite quickly after a few mouthfulls. She enjoyed her rice cereal twice today. Big sister Natalie was a big help too, feeding her sister many mouthfulls of Pablum. Leah slept through the night from 8:45pm until 8:30am last night, so lets see if she can do it again after having some food!

Surprise! Another tooth, on the bottom!

Grandma just found another tooth in Leah's mouth, but not where I was waiting for it. She has one on the bottom, beside the middle two, and another one ready to come in on the other side of them too. Nothing on the top yet!

Rolling, rolling, rolling...

Yup, that's right, Leah is rolling over! She constantly rolls from her back to her tummy whenever she is put down. This makes putting her down awake for her naps and bedtime tricky, but its so cute and funny! She grunts and complains after a bit of playing, then we have to rescue her from her new found talent, LOL.

The picture above was taken just after she rolled over for the second time. She is growing up so fast (and so is that hair...)
